So today, I open Outlook Express, which I use to manage my multiple hotmail accounts. One account has errors...the error says
Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'Hotmail (1)', Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Server Response: 'Access to Hotmail via Outlook and Outlook Express now requires a subscription. WTF?
Then I goto to their help section and see that, to lower the incidence of spam that I get, they are only allowing people to use Outlook or Outlook Express with PAID hotmail accounts... What is this bullshit? And, oh by the way, my other account works just fine. Can they do that? Can they make email not work with software that I have a valid license to run????
Gee, I don't know why there would be so many Anti-Microsoft people out there...assholes.
