Ok...yesterday I bought Son a new pair of tennis shoes, in size 9 (New Balance) since his old shoes were size 8 and are now too small. They were too small as well (I know, bad mommy award for me for letting his shoes get that small)...
Today, I decide to get Nikes because the New Balance were also narrower....so I goto Kid's Foot Locker in Tysons. Where the sales guy was unable to comprehend that I wanted to purchase the size 9 AND the size 9.5 and that I would bring the pair that didn't fit back. This way, he gets a shoe that fits tonight and I can return the other pair at my leisure....Had I purchased only 1 pair, odds are that they wouldn't fit and I'd be dragging my butt back to the mall tomorrow, as Hubby and I have decided to make it a priority to get him a pair of shoes that fit correctly before we cause his feet to be deformed.
Do y'all think that's odd? To buy 2 pairs, planning on returning one of them??
